Product Description
The story behind the watch
The inspiration is drawn from classic pilot watches – timepieces originally made as pure tools for precision and legibility.
We have also looked to the watches our grandfather used; models that can withstand use and have a visual expression that endures over time. The goal is a watch that feels relevant today, but could just as easily have been worn fifty years ago.
A size that suits most
We settled on 41 mm, two notches larger than our other models (39 mm). It is a balanced size that:
- Works on both smaller and larger wrists
- Gives the chronograph presence without being too dominant
- Feels right for both everyday and more formal occasions
With thoughtful lug-to-lug, sapphire glass, and classic proportions, the watch sits stably and comfortably.
Why Seiko VK64?
We have chosen a Seiko VK64 mecha-quartz movement. This means:
- Quartz for precision, stability, and low maintenance
- Mechanical module for the chronograph, with a crisp start and clear stop
This gives you the best of both worlds:
- The accuracy of quartz
- The feel and experience of a mechanical chronograph
A full mechanical chronograph movement is fantastic, but also expensive. Our goal has been to create a genuine, well-executed chronograph that is accessible to as many people as possible, without compromising the experience.
(P.S: We are considering a full mechanical chronograph in a limited edition later – earliest autumn 2026.)
Note: The strap width is 21 mm, compared to 20 mm on our other models, so the straps we sell separately will not fit the Flyver.

Payment, shipping and returns
Pay by card, Klarna, Vipps or Apple Pay.
Orders are shipped no later than the next business day with Posten (package in mailbox) for NOK 49. Delivery time is 1-3 days depending on where in the country you live. You have a 14-day right of return (buyer pays for return) and a 2-year warranty.
We ship internationally
Our webshop currently does not support purchases from outside of Norway, but we can manually create an order for you. Shipping will be 15-20 euros to most countries.

Sapphire crystal
The chronograph has a domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
Seiko VK64 Hybrid
The Seiko VK64 mecha-quartz movement gives you both the accuracy of quartz and the experience of a mechanical chronograph.
10ATM water resistance
Water resistance down to 100 meters depth. Screw-down crown for extra water resistance.
41mm stainless steel case
316L surgical stainless steel – durable, corrosion-resistant, and made for longevity.

How long will it be until I receive the watch?
We expect delivery at the end of February 2026. Delivery may be postponed until the end of March 2026 if necessary for testing and quality assurance.
Can I buy other straps for Flyver?
Yes, but none of our existing straps fit, as they are 20 mm wide. The strap width on the Flyver is 21 mm. We will be developing more straps for the Flyver throughout 2026 – in the meantime, you can purchase straps from other suppliers.
Do you charge the full amount for advance payment?
Yes, we withdraw the full amount when you pre-order. You can exercise your right of withdrawal at any time (up to 14 days after the watch has been shipped) and will then receive a refund of the purchase amount within 1-2 business days.
Can you send directly to a gift recipient?
Yes, simply enter the address of the person you are giving the watch to as a gift at checkout, and we will send the gift directly. Please also provide your own email address so that the order confirmation goes to you. No receipt is included in the package, so the gift recipient will not see the price.
Do you ship outside Norway?
Yes, but we have to manually create the order for you. Send your full name, address, and the watch you want to purchase to far@farfarklokker.no.
Is the watch well-protected during shipping?
Yes, we pack in envelopes with protective bubble wrap, and the watch is shipped in the accompanying travel case.
Can I return the watch if I change my mind about the purchase?
Yes, you have a 14-day right of return (from when the watch is shipped) in accordance with Norwegian law. We also offer a 30-day open purchase policy, provided the watch is in used condition. If you wish to cancel your purchase, please send an email to far@farfarklokker.no with your name, address, phone number, and order number.
What payment methods do you offer?
You can pay with Vipps, Klarna, and bank card.
Where are the watches produced?
After great success and increased demand for our watches, we have chosen to collaborate with experienced watch factories in Shenzhen, China, just outside Hong Kong. Shenzhen is a global hub for watch production, where many of the world's largest brands also have their watches produced.
Previously, our watches were assembled in Norway, but to meet demand without compromising quality, the watches are now produced in collaboration with skilled specialists in watchmaking.
